Week 6


Post reach is how many people your post is able to be viewed by where engagement is the actual viewers who like or comment on your post, or click to shop or connect to your site or page. 

Knowing the difference is important because your post can be being viewed by tons of people but if they aren't engaging then you may need to reevaluate your target market and insights on posting time. Just throwing something out there with out getting engagement ends up being a waste of time and energy and does not help with the algorithms of social media. You need to be active and moving up in algorithm by engagement. 

Insights will help you figure out when your target market is most active so then you know the best time to post. This way you aren't throwing your post out for the wrong target market and not getting engagement.
